EUROCLONE PRESENTS: Unlocking the Potential of Antibody Validation and Innovative Techniques in Protein Detection- Maxime Jacquet, Field Application Scientist EMEA at Cell Signaling Technology
Abstract: Cell Signaling Technology® (CST) is dedicated to providing the world’s highest quality, innovative research products. Our mission is to empower the global scientific community, accelerate biological understanding, by offering you tools you can trust. This starts with the development of antibodies and their validation on the multiple applications they can be used for (WB, ELISA, IF, Flow Cytometry, etc.), our different services (proteomics, custom conjugation), and our cutting-edge innovation (anti-CAR linker antibodies, SignalStar). In this seminar we will present the complementary strategies that can be used to determine the functionality, specificity, and sensitivity of an antibody in any given assay. With an increasing interest in protein investigation within tissue contexts, particular attention will be given to Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. We will discuss essential steps for successful experimentation in these techniques, supported by validation efforts encompassing extensive protocol optimization and antibody titration. Additionally, we will introduce SignalStar™ technology, emphasizing its application in Multiplex IHC (mIHC) solutions. SignalStar™mIHC by CST offers a flexible multiplexing approach, amplifying the signal of up to 8 protein biomarkers within FFPE tissues within a 2-day timeframe.
