My current research activity is focused on studying the regulation of intracellular metabolism and membrane trafficking. Using advanced microscopy, biochemical and cell biological techniques, I am now investigating the role played by ADP ribosylation during endocytosis depicting the cellular targets specifically controlled by this post-translational modification.

2016: PhD in Biomolecular Sciences, University of Studies of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”- Institute of Protein Biochemistry (IBP-CNR), Naples, Italy.

PhD project: Investigating Lipid Droplet biogenesis: role of CtBP1-S/BARS.

2013: Master’s Degree in Biology, University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy (final mark, 110/110 cum laude).

Title of thesis: Isolation and characterization of a Drosophila cln7 gene mutant, responsible late-infantile neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis.
